The Simple Art of Arranging Flowers at Worlds End - August 19

299.00

Instructors: Sarah Ryhanen, Co-Founder of Saipua, Jennell Lehman, Flower Farmer of World’s End

This day class is designed to share our farm and my love of flowers with you. Class will start with a tour of the farm, some dog and sheep petting and then turn towards the simple, pleasurable art of cutting flowers and arranging with them.

Each guest will be sent into the flower field with a bucket to collect their stems. We’ll return to the barn where I will give a demonstration of how I like to put flowers together. We’ll discuss color, texture and the other core tenants of building arrangements. Then each of you will work on your own masterpiece.

This is intended for novices and practiced students alike. I will make a beautiful spread of vegetable based snacks from the garden and send you home in the evening with your flower arrangement, the confidence to continue practicing floral design on your own and hopefully a healthy reserve of the peace and beauty that comes with spending a day in nature.
