SAIPUA Method Introduction - September 3

299.00

Flower Class with Deanna Nairns, head designer at Saipua 2010-15

Deanna will guide students through the principles of floral arranging through discussion and demonstration; this class is formatted for both beginners and those wishing to develop their current skill set. Participants will be exposed to the foundational aspects of design: how to develop spacial depth and navigate color, texture, and scale. Each student will choose from an array of seasonal flowers sourced from Worlds End Farm and elsewhere, featuring dahlias, hydrangea, nicotiana, celosia, zinnias and autumn anemones to create their own unique interpretation of the season.

Students will leave with their own arrangement along with the confidence to continue a flower practice on their own. All materials will be provided during the class, including flowers, vase, and floral shears. Light refreshments served.

Tickets are final sale and non-refundable. Price includes 8.875% NY state sales tax.
